Carry You Through Hell...To The Other Side
Not too much is new. I barely post anything of import on OD so LJ has gotten an even shorter end of the same stick. Three-ended stick? Why not.

I'm working at the Dell kiosk at the mall now. I actually really like the job. The pay is great. Not getting too too many hours as we're right in between the school and christmas rush.

I'm incredibly poor, actually. Guts is epileptic. He started having several seizures a day about 2 weeks ago. There was $110 totally gone out of nowhere. Then $10 for a two month supply of his meds, which he has to take for the rest of his life.

I'm so behind on credit cards I'm trying to consolidate. I went to Monroe for a meeting. It shouldn't be too bad. However, I have to come up with the $110 start-up fee.

Funi in FINALLY releasing eps 4-6 of the third Tenchi OVA next month. It's been ever a year since the first three episodes were released. I really hate Funi. They're releasing the last episode on a single disc. It has 45 minutes of extras and it comes with a tin. I guess that is supposed to make the $29.99 I'll be paying for one episode worth it. Anyways, I really want to buy volume 2. I already have them all DLed but I do actually like to support the industry.

Here's some pics:

Well, that's it for now. I have to go and live my catatonic, aimless life!

Media Collection Pics
Taken from my OD. I know there's some magical cut code so I don't annoy people but I don't LJ that often so I don't know it and don't care to look it up. If I offend you by posting all these pictures then please get out of 94' and get a fast internet connection and it won't be a problem. Thank you!!

Quick updates!!

BCSN is going pretty well. I'm only getting 2 days a week so I NEED another job. Kroger called me today. Al and I are going to this giant job fair on Thursday. Hopefully everything will work out.

FInished third Tenchi OVA and it was AWESOME. I had chills for almost the whole time whilst watching episode 19. CHILLS! Started watching more of the second season of Once & Again. MMMM

I haven't written in two weeks and all I can talk about is my job and media. LOL Sadly, I can't think of much more to say.

Acrually, there's probably quite a few new insights I've gained lately about myself but I haven't the time nor the energy to write about them currently. In the meantime...here's some pics of my media collection. This is everything aside from my real novels, which I have yet to unpack.

I know. 2 LJ entries in a week. It is weird.

Listening to new Covenant.

I have reason to believe Apop will be touring the US in Aug. or Sept. New album hasn't been released here, though. Will that screw things up? Probably. Oh! the cons of signing to a major record label. You and me against the recording industry...

We get keys to the apartment tomorrow. Gas will be turned on on Friday. At least we can start moving out tomorrow.

Working on my second major screenplay. I was thinking of doing a trilogy based on theme. I know, right. Bandwagons are fun. This one is about a boy and a girl who's love for each other is fueled mainly by their own seperate self-hatreds.

Started on Accutane today. There's one problem solved.

I wish I found a nice girl who hated herself.

I'm off to eat ice cream and watch Roseanne. Oh, and regretting things. :)

Pros & Cons
PROS:

*I called about an editing job in the paper. The guy and myself sounded very similar. We both like writing and want to move to LA. He said he needed editors closer to May (maybe earlier) and that he'd give me a call later in the month.
*I got a wiener dog. His name is Guts. Pictures soon. :)
*My dad knows someone who knows someone at BCSN, which is a local high school sports channel. I called him and he said they were hiring and gave me a # to call. He told me to use his name as a reference. I did so but I left a voicemail. I'll call Monday if I haven't heard form them.
*Moving into an aprtment with Martha...should be Wednesday. *Had 400 more dollars than I thought.
*I'm on Accutane come Monday.

CONS

*I'm working at Value City in the shoe department for $6.25 an hour. I got hired today...I start on Monday.

Yeah, that's about it. I hope one of the video jobs works out before I start on Monday. I used to make $8 an hour...and I didn't sell shoes.

I'm applying for a Videographer job at 13ABC, too. It's only part time, though.

First Video On-Line
I just found out about Google video. I just uploaded my first video. It's called Quiet Revelations . It's one of my portfolio pieces. It's obviously compressed so it doesn't look totally awesome.

I'll try to have more of my stuff uploaded ASAP. I'd love feedback. :)

Christmas Door
So... There's this contest that I found out about today. They're having a contest in my apartment building for the best Holiday door. Me and Kelly scoped out the competition...there was none. We went off to It's A Buck and bought $8 worth of stuff. The result is below. First place is $75. Second is $50 and then $25. But, oh! we're fucking winning. LJ is retarded.. see pics here. Also in OD for any old school (better) people. :)

Apoptygmatic News
Apoptygma Berzerk's fifth sudio album, "You And Me Against The World" is scheduled to come out this August or September with a single for "We're In This Together" expected out mid-July. APB have signed with Gun records.

It seems like Apop is looking less like a solo project and a lot more like a band these days. All of the live band members have helped work on this new album. While the music is still said to be very electronic there will be guitars and drums this time around. The new album is said to have an indi-rock feel to it. Stephan himself plays guitar on the album. People who have heard the new song at WGT have said it sounds kinda like Placebo.

Stephan wrote the majority of the lyrics with a little help from Anders.

ApoptygmaBerzerk.de is currently down. Beforehand there was talk of revmaping the website so one can only assume we'll have a brand new uber cool Apop site up in the next few days or so.

Some More Unsents
Most of them are about ready to be sent, too.

~~~~
Dear Neuros-
You have the best MP3 player on the market. That is, if one can obtain a working model. It's obvious from the forum that a decent percentage of your products freeze up within' the first week. This wouldn't be as annoying if your customer service weren't a bunch of fucking retarded liars who have no problem lying and then ignoring me. I know it's fun to think that they're great and some people just "fall through the cracks" but when I sent several e-mails and leave phone messages I find it very hard to believe I'm not just flat out being ignored.
You told me that my new unit would ship as soon as my old one was in transit. That didn't happen. Now I'm sitting here waiting for a new player and being totally ignored. THIS IS EXACTLT WHAT I DIDN'T WANT TO HAPPEN. WHY THE FUCK DOES IT TAKE YOU A WEEK TO SHIP ME A NEW PLAYER?!?!? I'm trying to like you but you're making it very hard. Get your fucking act together before I just ask for a refund and a buy a different player that isn't run by fucktards!
-Mr. "Fell Through The Cracks"
Dear eBay Seller-
I about creamed myself when I saw an official Undressed backpack listed that was only given out to the cast and crew. It was even more exciting when I won said item for only $12.50. However, this is your first auction and you have no rating. I won the auction on Sunday and have e-mailed you twice since asking you how much shipping from Canada is. You have not responded. I'm sure you thought you'd get more than $12.50 and since this is your first auction you're probably just going to ignore me.
How about you just fucking reply so I can get the backpack I won. Very few people care about Undressed and fewer people still check eBay for Undressed items on a regular basis. I do, and there's nothing there except for promotional photos so there's no reason for anyone to keep checking. I have been for several years and finally found something really awesome. And now you're ignoring me.
I want my backpack you stupid hoebag and I will be receiving it. You just reply and let's get this over with.
Dear Video Engineering Teacher-
I know that I've slacked off at the beginning of class but after I saw I had a D at midterm I've been studying like a bitch. You told me today that I had an 80, which is a C as you use a very stupid 7-point grading system. After you explained that Jamie rose her grade % by 12 in two weeks and that this one kid who had an A in the class dropped it down to a C by failing the final, I ask you if I could still easily get a B in the class. You told me that it's highly unlikely.
Will you please make some fucking sense?! If one person can raise their percentage by 12% in two weeks and you just said the final can affect your grade by two full letter grades, how the fuck is it that it "isn't likely" that I can riase mine by 6% in the next 4 weeks? Retarded.. Jesus fucking christ...
-6% Lower Than He'd Like
Dear Myself-
You know you have a treatment due tomorrow as well as an outline for your speech. Not to mention actually going over your speech for tomorrow. I know you only meant to sleep for an hour and not for 5 hours but you really should've gotten up when the alarm went off. Now you're going to be up and fuck up your whole sleep schedule which won't work now as you're employed. Also, why are you writing on OD when you have all this shit to do? Fagtard...
-Your Better Half
Yeah, today's been frustrating...
Anders Is Back
Yeah... We've known for like 9 months. Update your page!!
I worked Sunday. It was fine. No one watches the cashiers at all. They can do whatever they want. That was nice. I'm used to the registering system now. I'm not really pushing the magazines or service/return plans at all but I won't be cashiering so it doesn't really matter.
The co-workers are fun enough. I don't think I'll be working with them more than another time or two so I didn't really go out of my way to be social. I had a bunch of convos I wanted to post but I guess I forgot most of them. They did mention the badass employee. Dan was like "And where did that new guy come from who rolls up his sleeves? Geez.."
One of the managers thought I was nervous as I was fidgeting. I'm naturally anxious and fidgety, it has nothing to do with the job, ma'am. A lot of time I don't even fidget because I'm anxious. I just like to fidget.
One thing that sucks is at least whilst they train me I'm working 4 hours a day four days a week. This means I go to school Mon-Wed and then work Thursday-Sunday. Not one day off a week. I hope they change this very quickly.
I have a speech to give on Wednday on how to hack a DVD player. I made a really crappy Powerpoint to go along with it and it should be fun.
There's really not much else to say. I watched Spy Girl today and it was fun. I have to be up at 6 tomorrow and I have no idea what I'm still doing up.
Oh, one last thing. Neuros is really starting to piss me off. Below is the e-mail I sent their CD department today. I'm sick of carrying around my CD player now. Bitches.
~~
I was initially told that my new unit would ship out
as soon as you could see that my old one was in
transit. That was Wednesday. It is now Monday and I
have no clue as to what's going on with my exchange. I
e-mailed you guys Saturday and never got a response.
I dislike being lied to just as much as I hate being
ignored. Could someone please tell me what's going on
with my exchange? I'm about ready to just tell you to
send me my old unit so I can return it and buy a
different player. I've tried to have faith in this
company and I really like the player but it's not
worth all this.
BB Orientation
I got like three hours of sleep last night. Getting up at 7:30 on a Saturday...honestly...
It was just me at the orientation. The other kid had prom tonight so he couldn't make it. It's weird having to make one contact with one person like that for like 30 mins. at a time. He kept going through all this corny stuff that no one needed to hear. He's talking to my about stock options and my 401(k) and the such. I'm 19 years old. I don't care.
I had a bunch of corny videos to watch. I'd type them out but no one really cares I'm sure. There was a lot of paperwork. I have a lot of computer training and workbook stuff, which is weird. They don't have you do it all at once. They started me working the register today. I guess you get some hands on then do some training and back and forth. I don't really understand when I'm supposed to do the training. Hopefully somewhere will clear that up.
I cashiered today for like 2 and a half hours. I need to learn that before I go to my real job: customer service. Cashiering was actually pretty fun. I enjoyed it. Customer Service Reps make more and I guess are viewed on a higher reguard...even though we're "all one team".
There's one guy there with spiked hair and he rolls his short-sleeves up. I guess he's the badass employee. How exciting...
Hmm... What else? Oh, the General Manager who did the orientation needed to see my social security card and my liscense for the tax stuff. When he saw my pic he did a doubletake.
Him: Wow! You've certainly lost a lot of weight!
....
Him: No offense, I just mean well, it just looks like you lost a lot of weight.
Me: Yup, I did. When you're poor starvation will do that to you. (laughs)
Him: (laughs) Yeah, I've done that.
I thought that was like the most awkward thing for him to say ever. Like he used to stave himself. LOL I had fun.
The job seems awesome. I get my employee discount after I work for a month. It's 5% above warehouse price. Laptop, here I come! Because I totally have the money. I didn't just blow $300 on an MP3 player and $20 on a pizza delivery I didn't need.
Neuros is pissing me off more and more. If my second player doesn't work (assuming they eer fucking ship me my new unit) then I'm just getting a refund and getting a different player. The Neuros is easily the best player on the market...if the unit you get happens to work. I don't like customer service lying to my face.
And I'm out. I work tomorrow 11-4. I also work next Thurs-Sat. Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun.
